International wire transfers
Sending outbound SWIFT payments from your MShore account
International wire transfers from Maritime Shore International Bank are sent through the SWIFT network. You will need the beneficiary’s full name, account number (or IBAN where used), bank name, and BIC/SWIFT code before you instruct payment in Online Banking.
Compliance screening may apply before funds leave MShore and again at intermediary or receiving banks. Allow time for value-date cut-offs and corridor-specific processing windows.
Double-check details using our SWIFT / BIC guidance. For transfers between MShore accounts, use same-bank transfers instead.
- Wire transfer: moves funds to another bank via SWIFT, usually with a value date and possible intermediary banks.
- Same-bank transfer: moves funds between MShore accounts instantly after confirmation—faster and typically lower cost.
- Always confirm currency, amount, and charging instructions (OUR/SHA/BEN where offered) before you submit.
- Incorrect beneficiary names or BICs are a leading cause of returns and investigations.
- Save the bank reference and electronic receipt for reconciliation—see payment receipts.
