Closing an offshore account
How to close your MShore account in an orderly way
Closing an account with Maritime Shore International Bank requires cleared balances, settled cards and loans where applicable, and completion of exit checks by compliance. Request closure through Support rather than simply stopping activity.
Before you ask us to close, download recent statements and payment receipts from Online Banking. You may need them for tax, audit, or beneficiary follow-up after access ends.
If you only need to stop a product or card, ask Support whether a partial change is available instead of full account closure. Related topics include debit cards and Statement of Fees.
- Settle outstanding card transactions, fees, and lending obligations before closure can complete.
- Instruct where any remaining balance should be remitted, using verified beneficiary details.
- Cancel standing payment arrangements and review pending wires so nothing posts after closure.
- Expect a final statement once the account is formally closed.
- Exit due diligence may include confirming destination of funds and updated identification.
