Using your card abroad
Spend overseas with your MShore debit card more confidently
MShore debit cards can be used abroad where the card network and merchant or ATM accept them. Before extended travel, review your card status in Online Banking and notify Support if your travel profile needs an update.
Monitor transactions while you travel and report anything you do not recognise immediately. Unexpected foreign ATM or merchant declines can relate to limits, security filters, or merchant category restrictions.
For card products and replacements, see Visa and Mastercard debit cards. For suspicious activity, read security and fraud prevention.
- Check available balance and currency wallets before you travel.
- Know your daily ATM and purchase limits; request a temporary change if needed.
- Prefer chip-and-PIN or contactless at reputable merchants; be cautious with unfamiliar ATMs.
- Dynamic currency conversion at terminals may be more expensive than paying in local currency.
- Keep Support contact details offline in case your phone or card is lost.
